NEW BUSINESS:

(1)  Members will be asked to nominate and vote on the position of Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary positions for 2009-2010.  Polly nominated Orenell for VP and this nomination was second by Bo.  The positions of Treasurer and Secretary remain with Judy and Polly.  This was nominated by George and second by Bob.  Members present voted unanimously for Orenell, Judy and Polly.  Pat C who was vice president will move up to President.

(2)  George installed 2009-2010 officers and then turned over the meeting agenda to Pat C

(3)  Members discussed considering not camping June/July as scheduled club camping, but wanted these to be kept as “yawl come campouts”.  Members voted to move the months of June and July from scheduled club camping months and to move those months to “yawl come campouts”.  Also motioned was to re-visit this issue after we run it thru a full cycle.  Members want to use the “yawl come campouts” as a vehicle to stay in touch.

(4) Jim and Vera asked members to considering having the February 2010 at the Kinder Casino Coushatta.  Jim had told Polly that the work at Hidden Ponds Sulphur has been put on hold, therefore the new addition is not available.  Members voted that the Kinder Casino would work.  There is no formal meeting room.  But if weather permits, the club could meet at the swimming pool area.  Otherwise, when the members meet for Breakfast or Lunch, they could hold the meeting there. Polly will contact Karen Martin, Group Sales 800-584-7263 ex 7148 to start up the process for block reservations.
