INTRODUCTION OF GUESTS:  Cindy/Pat introduced their 6 month old granddaughter Amyah Renee.  Judy and Ham spent the day on Saturday.

NEW BUSINESS:

(1)  Electing a replacement for Vice President was postponed until more members could be present.

(2) July and August 2009 need hosts.  We will revisit this when we are at Ken’s next month.

(3)  Bob asked Polly to give report on monies donated last month for the clubs adopted child.  Polly told members the amount that was donated and hopefully we can add to that amount this week end and bring the amount to the amount suggested for a gift card. That amount was collected so a gift card from Walmart will be purchased and mailed to the family.  One gift card has been sent in the clubs name.  Monies are being collected for the next one.

(4) Polly told members that the Friday night at Ken’s next month had an invitation for a road trip to Fried Fish, etc at Steel Ranch.  See Jan newsletter for more information.

(5) The Campsite committee 2010 site search was given to members.  Members looked at 21 sites for 2010 and have begun to narrow that list down.  The list will be revisited again when we are at Ken’s.

(6) Members will pick at month from the Camping Schedule and then at an open meeting select the campground they would like to camp at.  This giving some variety on procedure in 2010 Camping Schedule. After this is in place, Polly will make the campground reservation.

(7) George asked that at the next meeting, we could talk about the Crawfish boil, head count and equipment being brought

(8) Marvin was not at this week ends campout.  Marvin will contact Riverview and ask them to hold 15 sites.  This number will be fine tuned next month at Ken’s.
