The July campout was cancelled and this newsletter is just getting information out to the members concerning the August campout.

Next campout = August 28, 29 and 30 at La Pay E Bas in Eunice and is being hosted by Polly/Bob (note: several members are camping earlier than Friday)

MEMBERS NEED TO CALL POLLY 337-519-1642 not later than Monday August 24^th to advise (1) camping or not (2) DI’s on Friday night (3) breakfast/hardware store and Fred’s on Saturday morning---members camping are asked to bring a dip w/chips or crackers.  Hamburgers will be from the campground concession.

NEW BUSINESS: 

(1)  Members will be asked to vote on Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary positions

(2)  George will install 2009-2010 officers

(3)  Members to considering not camping June/July & possibly Aug 2010 depends on turnout for 2009

(4) 2010 confirmed months/sites/lead hosts are as follows:

 March 26, 27, 28 2010 – Danny LaFleurs in Grand Prairie – Sue/Bo

August 27, 28, 29 2010 – LaPayEBas in Eunice – Polly/Bob

September 24, 25, 26 – Leo’s in Bristol – Sue/Ed

October 22, 23, 24 2010 – Vermilion Creole in Abbeville – Lois/Roy

Nov/December 3, 4, 5 2010 – Poches in Breaux Bridge – Orenell/Pat
