Next campout = December 4, 5 & 6th (Club Christmas Event)at Poches in Breaux
Bridge and is being hosted by Orenell/Pat & Judy/George.
The October campout
was held at Vermilion Creole in
Abbeville LA on October 16, 17 & 18.
This campout was hosted by Cindy/Pat
Friday night members dined on fried shrimp, okra
and fries prepared outside at the campground.
Saturday the meeting was called to order by Pat.
Campers were led in the opening Prayer by George.
Bob led the members in the Pledge of Allegiance. Members camping this
week end – Polly/Bob and Judy/George.
Members attending Saturday meeting/meal – Cindy/Pat.
Judy made a motioned to approve minutes as
received and second by Cindy.
Members approved minutes.
Judy gave the treasurers’ report. It was moved
by Cindy and second by Polly that the report be accepted as given.
Report was approved by members present.

NEW BUSINESS:
(1)
Pat read
an email received from Steve Dagro.
Steve and Laurie will not renew their membership for 2010.
Job commitments made it impossible for them to camp more than one time in
2009. And they feel that 2010 will
have the same effect on their schedules. They will continue to receive the
camping schedule and if they can attend any of the camp events, they will come
as guests.

Members
were reminded that it’s time to pay annual dues.
(3)
Polly
has confirmed the February Campout with the Coushatta Casino and has reserved a
block. This will be fine tuned in
January.
(4)
A campground to consider for December 2010.
A site has been found that is just a couple miles from Natchitoches.
So if the members are interested in the Natchitoches lights and fireworks
festival, Polly can look further and get information back to members.
This is a country campground, but it has full accommodations.
(5)

do not call the cell phone listed on the membership listing-she has a new #
and when I spoke to her the phone was in her car and she was at the
switchboard) and let her know (1) what you will bring and (2) if you want to
play Stealing Santa.
The hosts will
prepare turkey & brisquette.
These are the side dishes members are asked to chose from and prepare:
Cole Slaw, String Beans, Potato Salad, Pickle Beets, Rice Dressing
Candied Yams, Peti Pois, Cornbread Dressing, Mac & cheese, Sweet pies,
Birthday Cake.
