C’est La Vie September 2009  Newsletter

Next campout = October 16, 17, 18 at Vermilion Creole in Abbeville and is being hosted by Cindy/Pat.

The September campout was held at Leo’s in Bristol LA on September 25, 26, 27.  This campout was hosted by Billie/Carlys and Sue/Ed.

Friday night members dined at Vidrine’s Seafood/Steak Restaurant in Lewisburg.  Saturday the meeting was called to order by Pat.  Campers were led in the opening Prayer by Carlys.   Bob led the members in the Pledge of Allegiance. Members camping this week end – Billie/Carlys, Cindy/Pat, Polly/Bob, Orenell/Pat and Sue/Ed. 

Cindy made a motioned to approve minutes as received and second by Bob.  Members approved minutes.

Pat read the treasurers’ report that Judy emailed to Polly. It was moved by Carlys and by Cindy that the report be accepted as given.  Report was approved by members present.

Guests:  Polly introduced Ms Ivy.

NEW BUSINESS: 

(1)  Polly emailed the 2010 camping schedule to members and will mail out the hard copies to the members that do not have email capability with the newsletter.  Polly mentioned that she printed copies for all members.  Distributed those to members present today and will hold on to the copies of members not present this week end.

(2)  Members were reminded that it’s time to pay annual dues.

(3)  Polly has confirmed the February Campout with the Coushatta Casino and has reserved a block.  This will be fine tuned in January.

(4) The formal document for 2010 camp schedule will be distributed with the September newsletter after the confirmation of the Kinder Casino Coushatta.

(5)  Medical updates on members

Card games were played this week end.  No horseshoes or dominoes
